Ok, so it’s a bit of a topic change from last time, but this is a subject that has fascinated me for a few years now. I was introduced to it first by a movie called “What the bleep do we know”. And for some reason this is what I felt like blogging about today.

I was totally amazed when I learnt that science can’t actually prove that we are not in a computer generated simulation. Also, there are some fairly compelling arguments that propose that we are actually living in a simulation! This sort of information challenges the general perception of consciousness and reality, pointing towards the value of more mystic, malleable and psychedelic interpretations of reality. Kind of cool if your into being creative – all of this leads to bigger and greater possibilities! I think this viewpoint could also be relevant to thoughts on religion, the ¬†Mayan calendar and also the 2012 debate. The youtube video below is a good intro to the idea of “illusion”, and the links after provide some good background to the current ideas of this interesting philosophical conundrum. Thanks for dropping in on the blog and hope you enjoyed the music while reading. Always appreciate your comments. Cheers HG
